The Foothills Year in Review 2022

The turn of the calendar to a brand-new year comes a new wave of excitement, opportunities, and resolutions (perhaps). Before we look too far ahead, we wanted to take a minute to review some of the milestones that we saw at The Foothills as the vision for the community continues to come to life.

January – April 2022

·       Closed Broad Ridge Pass (Final phase in Phase 1) with 29 lots in total

·       Launched “The Foothills Today” where we share updates, profiled builders, and let you learn more about the team behind the project.

·       Hosted a very well attended community town hall for feedback on The Foothills Official Community Plan

·       Hospice Dream Home Lottery winner announced

May – August 2022

·       Final Single Family lots presale launched and sold out before going to market

·       19 Single Family lots official registered for final single family home phase

·       Broke ground on Lot 1, future Foothills show home and office

September – December 2022

·       OCP amendment unanimously passed by city council and community

·       Construction well underway on future Foothills show home with completion on track for Spring 2023.

·       The Foothills was named a finalist for ESG Global 2022 awards

Looking ahead to 2023, while we continue to welcome homeowners’ home to The Foothills as new builds are completed we are in full planning and management of our first single family offerings. More information, renderings and presale opportunities will be shared in the months ahead.

 Trail mapping, and planning is also a priority in 2023 to make our dedicated park land an adventure playground for cyclists, walkers, runners alike. Finally planning the heartbeat of our community, the Village also continues in 2023.
